Wuthering Heights
A new favorite piece of mine. Victorian-inspired high back chair for
only... $4000. Nice! - courtesy of ABC Carpet and Home

Doc-in-a-box?
Such a hilarious phrase. I can't help but think of the much-celebrated
recent SNL digital short featuring Justin Timberland and Andy Samberg.

Ode to Subway Creatures
Using my top-secret photographing skills, I snuck a photo of this
lovely subway mutant. Yes, that is he with a fiddle on his hat. He
forced Rosa and I to "moooove over" because he "neeeeded to siiiit
down" (imagine this in a horrid yell). Mind you, there was an entire
row open across from us but he chose to sit as closely to us as he
could. Naturally, we scooted down... mainly because we feared for our
lives. We both had the church giggles and knew he was sure to kill us
for laughing "with" him.

I thought it was over until he began to sing a lovers lull on two of
humanity's most dear subjects: cocaine and the apocolypse.
"Destruction is upon us... So drink your days away." He then fell
asleep. I guess the apocolypse wasn't as dire as we thought...

Hmm...?
So Monica and I went to University Diner for a quick bite and I
happened to see this hilarious error under the French Cuisine chicken
section... Look at number one: Chicken Gordon Blue. Im not familiar
with this dish but I am familiar with Chicken Courdon Bleu. Hah. Oh
New Yorkers...!

Getting there...
Well my Gate is slowly filling to capacity. The family across from me
has no control over their children. The man in blue ate two apples and
an orange after the banana from the previous post. At least he's
healthy! Twenty minutes and counting until we board. Thank God!

Aeroportation
I'm not sure why this scene at O'Hare in Chicago is hilarious. But the
man in blue is peeling his third consecutive snack: this time, a
banana. For the most part my Gate is empty. Then again, I am 3 hours
early... (sigh)

Drinks & Duckies
Rosa and I treated ourselves to a relaxing chat at the bar of the
Peabody Hotel in Memphis. Pictured is Rosa's Memphis Barbie Martini.
Note the tacky décor but delightful vintage charm of the lobby.
